Bienvenue & Welcome to our self catering holiday cottage in rural Basse Normandie!

Le Pressoir is a stylish barn conversion, designed to offer quality self catering holiday accommodation for up to three adults.

Off the beaten track, in the heart of the Basse Normandie countryside, and only 30 minutes from Brittany, it's location makes Le Pressoir an ideal base for discovering the delights of both regions! Drive in any direction to some of the many popular tourist attractions in the area or purely to admire the beautiful landscape. For some ideas of places to visit click here.

And of course you can just relax in the gîte or the garden, soak up the sun and enjoy a bbq in the summer, or in winter stay warm and cosy inside, and snuggle up in front of the wood burner with a good book or a movie.

The property is nestled in a small rural hamlet of half a dozen houses, including two working farms, and the hamlet is surrounded by farmland and quiet roads. Adjoining the owners property, and completely self-contained, the gîte has its own entrance, and ample private parking for two cars. A car is essential: Le Pressoir is roughly 4 kms from the nearest village of Ger, and 12 kms from Mortain, where you will find supermarkets and fuel station.

We are Karen & Andy Williams, owners of Le Pressoir, and we will be delighted to answer any questions you may have, guide you through the booking process, and do everything we can to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday. And if you need friendly guidance or advice during your stay we will be happy to help, otherwise we'll be unobtrusive and leave you to enjoy your holiday.

There's no need to take our word for it though, click here to see what our visitors say!

We look forward to meeting you!
